Child Safety Seat Inspections
The Central Connecticut Health District through a grant from the Connecticut Department of Public Health and in cooperation with local Police Departments is sponsoring three child safety seat inspections for residents of District towns.
Health District personnel and local police officers have undergone training by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to become certified safety technicians.
These technicians will be on hand to inspect residents car seats to make sure they are the proper seat for the child (child must be present), are in good working order and installed correctly.
