The Capital Improvement Committee has been assigned to examine rent and operational costs, consider the options of a centralized versus a decentralized office model (or a hybrid thereof), and to develop a capital improvement plan particularly for computers and needed technology over a 3-5 year period.

Contingency Planning Committee

The Contingency Planning Committee was formed in 2009 and assigned to generate ideas that may be considered (if needed) due to the current uncertainty in the economy and the unpredictability of the future.

Information Technology Committee

The Information Technology (IT) Committee was established as a special committee by the Board in October 2011 with the charge: to use review with the Director of Health the IT needs of the Health District, including but not limited to the transition to the Digital Health Department, transition to a “cloud server,” hardware and software needs, the need for replacements and upgrades and telephone communication and linkages; and to recommend changes to the Board and appropriate use of the line items in its current budget for IT; and make budget recommendations for the 2012-13 fiscal year.

This Committee was dissolved in October 2012.
